The situation
The Live Like Chasen Foundation was created in memory of Chasen Petcovic, a 13-year-old Milton athlete who died of an undiagnosed heart condition in 2023. The mission that grew from his story: help other families find hidden heart conditions first.
The foundation needed a website that could carry a heavy story with care and still do practical work: explain the programs, take donations, and route families to help.
Memorial sites can tip into grief or into fundraising pressure. This one holds the line: Chasen's story leads, the mission stays actionable, and every page ends with a way to help.
What we built
A story-first site that turns community support into screenings, training, and devices in the homes that need them.
- Story-first design honoring Chasen, #66
- Program pages: awareness, education, devices
- CPR & AED training information
- Cardiac warning-signs education
- Donation pathway with 501(c)(3) clarity
- Request Help flow for families
- Partner & sponsor sections
- Events hub for foundation activity
Built to do the work
Made to mobilize
Donate and Request Help are reachable from every page, so support is never more than one click away.
Easy to run
The family and volunteers update programs, events, and partners without a developer.
Room to grow
Events, partners, and programs scale as the foundation's reach does.
Have a mission that deserves this care?
We build sites that carry the story and do the practical work behind it.
